The excellent shopping, fine dining and unique cultural activities of Pasadena lie just one mile from the Vagabond Inn, a small hotel which offers plenty of "freebies" to its guests. In addition to cable televisions and a swimming pool, the hotel provides a free continental breakfast, free stay for children 18 and younger in their parents' room, free local calls, free copies of USA Today and free incoming faxes. Some rooms have dataports. The hotel is also very close to LA's major freeways, making sightseeing easily accessible. -- Cathy Tamkin
