Friendly as a slap on the back, Vic's Bar is your basic neighborhood joint filled with a cross-section of older locals, college kids and long-time regulars. One of those places where "everyone knows your name," this little bar has the requisite pool tables, beer signs and vinyl-covered bar stools that have successfully bucked every bar trend of the last twenty years. No frou-frou drinks here. There's no valet parking and no swanky trays of "nibblies" set out with your cocktail. What you will find is cold beer, strong drinks and an easygoing crowd. A T-shirt and jeans seems to be the costume of choice at Vic's, which just adds to the casual atmosphere. A couple of TVs and a well-stocked jukebox add to the noise level.
