If you're sick of being cool, want to catch some live jazz and you're not bothered by hanging with a slightly older demographic, Casey's Tavern is where you want to be. For nearly 20 years, this place has delivered classic jazz, swing and Dixieland music played by guys with gray hair or no hair at all. But the music is pretty darn good, and looking around the room there were a fair number of folks in their twenties and thirties. There's live music three nights a week: Thursdays (8:30pm to 11:30pm) and Saturdays (9pm to 1am) are classic jazz/swing music, while Sundays (6pm to 9pm) are for Dixieland. They have an Over-80 Club that gets drinks at half price (and yes, they do check ID). -- Ron Wilkerson
