Named fittingly after the three meals of the day it serves (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), BLD is the more casual sibling to neighboring Grace, with equally appealing cuisine at a more reasonable clip. As with Grace, Neal Fraser lends his Iron Chef touch to the menu, which has everything from Wagyu, pork, turkey and garden burgers to an impressive charcuterie and cheese selection (be it blue or goat, rest assured, it comes with a story). Service is unpretentious and as polished as the 100-year-old antique meat slicer that sits behind the bar, a touch of antiquity amid the slick, gallery-like interior. Check out the little epicurean retail space upon entering; you can score specialty house wares, gourmet jam or a spicy rub.

Swell place
Excellent, unusual take on the classic weekend fare. Especially like the pork in all its variations, and the cheese starter courses are an absolute delight. The wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. All-around A+- it's our new neighborhood favorite.
