Merging all the crowdedness of a Lake Havasu houseboat party with the pricing of a weekend jaunt to Mexico, Cabo Cantina is a vibrant blend of no-frills Mexican food and margaritas mixed for a generation defined by their tan lines. Underneath a ceiling covered by helium-filled blow-ups and other south-of-the-border paraphernalia, Cabo's crew clutters together for standing room only, as appetizers such as cream cheese jalapeno poppers and three-cheese quesadillas make their way through the tiny slivers of daylight. How are they so unbelievably busy, you ask? A few reasons, most likely. For one, it's only about as far as a Tiger Woods tee shot away from UCLA. Another might be that daily happy hours extend across the better part of every evening (from 4-8PM), when two-for-one drinks are doled out. There are booths inside, but it's exclusively a seat yourself first proposition. The most popular place to hang, however, is the outdoor terrace, where the young and nubile get in touch with themselves, and each other, on a patio ogled by Wilshire Boulevard drivers.

Good Place !!
By RILEY CAL on 06/21/2008
Parking is sparse (street). Prices fair with good happy hour specials. Good meat market with plenty of UCLA girls (and guys). Very good appeteasers and better than average margueritas. All in all a good place to go with buddies or a date or (better) a mixed gang. Noisy and fun!! As a P.S.. it is only a few doors up from Q's - another great place!!!

PARTY HOUSE THAT RULES
By shannonvenusgata on 04/30/2007
THIS PLACE WAS THE BOMB!! AWSOME ATMOSPHERE GREAT FOOD WITH BUZZ FILLED DRINKS. YES THE WAITRESS SEEMED NOT TO CARE ABOUT US ALL THAT MUCH, BUT THE WORSE THING WAS THE BATHROOM. ONLY ONE TOILET FOR THE WOMEN'S ROOM IS NOT SMART IDEA. I EVEN HAD TO THROW PEOPLE OUT IN ORDER TO USE IT.

Frat house on the Strip
By dclamckinley on 06/02/2005
I went last week and it was like a frat house. The bartenders were spraying each other and there were lots of young 20-somethings doing shot games in the front.
