Merging hemispheres and melding philosophies, the EAST | WEST Lounge straddles the territories of Boy's Town and the Westside with sophistication and grace. Dressed like your father's smoking den in dark woods, chocolate suede chairs and pin-stripped booths, the bar plays host to a mixed crowd of young professionals calling it a day, all-night party seekers and an overflow from neighboring West Hollywood bars. EAST | WEST's hunky "mixologists" are also a well-gawked-at incentive to saddle up to the bar for champagne cocktail or a specialty top-shelf sidecar. However, dwelling in this cultural vortex doesn't come cheap. A $42 margarita named "The Don" seems slightly excessive, unless the ghost of Don "The Godfather" Corleone is greeting you at the door or Donald Trump is pouring the 1942 Don Julio tequila himself. Also available for the less thrifty is bottle service and the use of the mezzanine and upstairs lounge -- all for the membership price of $1,200. Carrying a plump wallet may be required to watch worlds collide.

Wednesday Nights are Great!

I recently visited with my straight friends for their Wednesday night Premium. It was very mixed, comfortable for all and the music was great. Someone nailed a midweek night on the head!

Excellent and Awsome Service

I was invited by a friend to visit this excellent Lounge "IT HAD IT" sophistication and grace. If you are tired of the the loud same "OLD" bar scene, the EAST?WEST is for you. You must experience the margarita named "The Don" It should be added to your list of things to do!

Best cocktails in town

Not only does East | West mix the best cocktails in town, they have one of the finest champagne lists of any bar in Los Angeles. When you put the two together, you get some of the most inventive champage cocktails anywhere. Mixologists Eric and Bret are incredibly creative and the staff's friendliness is quite refreshing.
