When shuffling past the chichi shops on Robertson to get to Boy's Town, it's easy to miss WeHo's hidden happy hour. From 5-7PM daily (and also 10-11PM Sunday through Wednesday), Fat Fish offers eight maki rolls for under $5 -- and not the conveyer-belt-style sushi either. The quality and thickness of FF's sashimi is found in the restaurant's name, and even during regular hours, prices and portions remain un-stingy. The teriyaki filet mignon salad and crispy soft shell crab appetizer are reasonable and sharable, especially in the pillow-riffic back lounge. The dining room is also alive with the festive chatter of after-work soirees and couples nibbling on hefty Fat AASS rolls (avocado, asparagus, spicy tuna and tempura seaweed). An equally fat list of sakes, inventive martinis and champagne cocktails make this place just as fun for drinking. And with a patio view of the evening's scenesters, it's an ideal people-watching pit stop, too.
