And as good as our prime cut is, they believe to truly enjoy your meal you need to have the perfect wine choice. No wonder their wine cellar is award winning, with wines to please the most discriminating palette. Combine great food and drink with genuine wood and marble surroundings, and you have the ideal steakhouse.

elegant decor and delicious food
If you want to have the feel of a NY steakhouse in CA - here's the place. The decor's very old clubby and they have a pianist who played Gershwin and Cole Porter. The service was perfect when you wanted something the waiter was there but not hovering. The food was delicious and they have some corny but fun features like roses for sale, etc. Prices were also like a NY steakhouse but I don't think you'll begrudge them - if you want a "grown-up" evening with a delicious meal I strongly recommend 555

This is the one of the best steakhouse restaurants by far. Great service, excellent wine list and lobster for those who don't want steak or would like to augment their dinner. The filet mignon melts in your mouth and the side corn dish is crisp, sweet and delicious. Great place to take a date. Dark, woody and romantic. I highly recommend the 555.

We've eaten here several times over the last 2 years, and only had one slighty off encounter. Other than that, the steaks here can not be beat, and there water is to die for. Who loves ya 555!
