In ShortThe rich wallpaper, gold bunting, fireplace, impeccably set tables with gold chargers, glowing candles and chairs draped with silk evoke the feeling one has wandered into an A-list wedding reception. Built in 1909, this mansion-turned-restaurant is a unique find in Orange County. Why White House? Each room is named after a U.S. President. The menu is predominantly Italian with a nod to the French; highlights include seafood linguine, calamari steak and veal piccata.

Amazing Food AND Service!
This restaurant was amazing. I can't believe some of these reviews! I have dined in amazing restaurants all over my entire life. This restaurant absolutely stands out. The food is delicious (highly recommend the short ribs) and the service was impeccable. The scenery being in a house thats 100 years old is so unique, its amazing what they've done! I recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.
Not what I had expected
We have dined in some of the best restaurants in the World, rated by the top Restaurant Critics, and I would have to say, we are spoiled.
After seeing that the White House recieved the top award for the BEST of 2007 with the AOL city guide, I immediately made a reservation for a special occassion.
Next time I will decide for myself, and no longer count of this AOL'S rating and reviews!
We were extremely dissappointed. The food was bland and mediocre.
Next time head for 5 star recommendation by Gagot critic's.
