Arnie Morton's of Chicago The Steakhouse, the nation's premier steakhouse group, specializes in classic, hearty fare, serving generous portions of USDA prime aged beef, as well as fresh fish, lobster and chicken entrees. Morton's is famous for its animated signature tableside menu presentation: steaks, whole Maine lobsters and other main course selections, along with fresh vegetables, are presented on a cart rolled to your table, where the server displays and describes each menu item in appetizing and entertaining detail. The menu, which is the same at all locations, features a variety of favorite cuts, including a 24 ounce porterhouse, which is the house specialty; a 20 ounce New York sirloin and a 14 ounce double cut filet.

NOT a place to relax
By labgolden on 09/15/2005
Our first hint was the crowd noise coming from the bar . . . then we saw that there were only 5-6 people in there. The noisy atmosphere was magnified in the dining room. Though the service and food were good, they did not make up for the high noise level and the constant flow of staff rushing past our table throughtout the meal. If you're in the entertainment business and/or have a generous expense account, this must be the place to go. However, if you're looking for a relaxing meal somewhere you can enjoy the conversation of your party, The Pacific Dining Car or Taylor's would be a far better choice.

nothing special
By elmerarana on 12/18/2004
I spent $130 bucks on two, which is kind of pricey. I ordered my steak medium-rare and it came-out rare as can be, it was literally COLD! from the inside but the second time they brought it out it was quite delicious. The service was just okay. Overall, it was good, nothing special.

Don't put a face on my food
By bkalves on 07/27/2004
Wonderful dining experience overall. Delicious and great service. Could have done without the live lobster on a plate being brought to the table! Just "tell" me the lobster is great...I don't need to see my waitress holding in the air while he wiggles around.
