Brandywine   

Brandywine is a great restaurant with superb selection of food, wine & service although I have quite a few disappointments, I strongly disagree on categorizing it as a romantic restaurant after celebrating a special occassion with a love one recently. Albeit cozy with its antique taste to its surrounding like the "semi booth" but the mood is certainly quite annoyingly noisy & having no seranading music to give a touch of romance on the background, it certainly does not help the not-so soothing ambience of the restaurant. It looses it's elegance of antiquity & subtleness. I can actually hear other people's conversation plus the maitre'd himself is quite loud for such a small place. I must give credit to the chef for the food & the waiters who were dress well & catered such excellent service. I would come back but definitely NOT for a romantic date.

Chris and Peggy are the best. While Peggy does the cooking, Chris provides warm and friendly service to all customers. The food is outstanding and the service is superior. A very special place for those special dinners.
