Been going there for the past five years...some of the best (and authentic) Italian cooking in California
Not worth your money
The food is average, they give you a taste and charge a lot of money.
What a disappointment!!
On August 9, 2004:
Service: horribly slow for a Monday night.
Server: impersonal and indifferent.
Food: We both had the rabbit in black olive sauce, apparently one of the house specialties. We each got a tiny leg & thigh, and the thinnest strip of white meat, accompanied by carrots & green beans. I left there hungry, and I wear a size 2!!
Price: Outrageous. We don't mind a big dinner bill for QUALITY food, service and ambience, but Celestino was sorely lacking in all areas these areas.
What a huge waste of time and money!
