Chandra Thai Restaurant   

I took my family to this establishment as I wanted to find restaurants we don't normally frequent as I was tired of the places we normally go to. Bad mistake. I take my family there tonight, and I ask the waitress for a soup noodle dish for the kids. The Silver Noodle soup has very few noodles and two shrimps. Whoopee. Unless your idea of a meal is to stare at a flame all night from the dish, you're outta luck. I ordered the pork chop dish . Then I was told there was no pork chop, so we ordered the tamarind chickent instead, which was a dollar more. Whataever. Then I was told the we suddenly had pork chops, and that it was the last dish and that I should get it. Hmmm...suspicious, but okay. So I order the pork chop,the bbq chicken, combination chow mein, rice. Ten minutes later, the waitress shows up saying that using our restaurant.com coupon, we needed to buy something else because I had only tallied up $34. No, you can't order a soda, you can't just give them a dollar. I told them, just give me the tamarind chicken thing then,it was a dollar more. Ican't believe I'm having a conversation about a dollar. She said no, the chops I already ordered. I already have too much food.She recommends the avocado roll, and I am going to say yes just to get her out of my face. Besides, nothing with avocado on it can be bad,right?Wrong, the rolls had a funny taste to it, too tangy, and the filling was a mush that didn't taste fresh at all. $7.50 for that? The bbq chicken, how can you ruin,but it was bland. The chow mein was horrendous, soggy and the chicken used was chicken end parts, not prime chicken parts. I own a restaurant, so i know. Honestly,the service was horrendous, parking you need to find around the corner somewhere, the food was horrific,and worse of all, some girl came and argued with me about a dollar. They have no business acumen, because an unhappy customer will never come back ( I won't) and I'll make sure nobody I know wastes their money there. I read a review where someone complained about portion size. How could you want more of that? Don't even want to elaborate on the cockroach I saw.

My husband and I go to Chandra's often. The food is always great and we always leave paying less than seems fair.
