Christy's Ristorante   

Last evening, I was the guest at a Birthday Dinner at Christy's. This was our first time at Christy's and EVERY appetizer, entree, and dessert was excellent. Prices were well within range for the quality, the service was prompt and attentive and the multi room design made conversation possible which was a pleasant surprise.

What a class act this restaurant was. My husband and I attended a wine pairing dinner there last night and can't wait to return! The place had such great energy, the food was just like high classe resorts we've been to. The service was absolutely over the top! This one gets our "Best Vote" in Long Beach!

Christys holds the record as the worst dining experience I have ever had. I had reservations and was seated 1 hour and 20 minutes after at a table in the bar none the less. The wait was bad but what was worse is that they were not honest and continued to say a table was being cleared. I had checked to see if the regular menu was available on New Years Eve and was told yes everything was the same except a few special dishes were added. The menu was not the same it was part of the regular menu and they added between $15 to $26 per entree that was on their regular menu. The waitress was very nice and her service was nice but the niceness stopped there. At a certain point I thought I would give them another chance another night but once I saw the price increase and the attitude of the wait is just the wait that changed. It's a good thing they don't have much competition in the area.

What an outstanding restaurant! The energy in the place is wonderful, the food will bring you back again and again, our service was a class act and the decor makes you feel as though you're on your first date again!!!
