forget the appetizers
By GIDEONSG on 01/17/2009
Don't order an appetizer as the portions are miniscule. A bowl of soup for $8.00? It was a thimble of soup for $8.00! Three of us got our main course which were delicious, the fourth came 15 minutes later. They apologized, but made no allowance for this delay. The restaurant was not crowded as our reservation was for 5:45, early in the evening. L.A. Philharmonic subscriber 1/16/2009

One Word: Caipirinha
By lcblrocks on 02/12/2007
We absolutely loved this restaurant. We came in on a Saturday night about 5pm. Our 7pm reservations were made through Open Table, and we waited at the bar before getting seated. The service was great, the drinks were outstanding, especially the caipirinha and the mojito. Once we got our food, we knew this was a keeper. The wait staff was very attentive and they made an effort to make conversation with us. The chef was also making the rounds, and she personally greeted us. We got a flan sent over because it was our first time. I had the chicken paella dish and my boyfriend got the Argentinian steak. I don't normally eat red meat, but this steak was phenomenal. What a great night!!

Very Noisy

4/5/06 Cocktail crowd and live music reverberated. Wait staff was helpful; food was great. Not a place to go for a good conversation.
