Go next door
The restaurant right next door is probably a little better taste wise. There has been a constant fude between the two. service wise they probably are the same. pure preference on the choice
horrible food,horrible service
OKOK. I've had food here once and I totally got grossed out (went there like a few weeks ago). I have to say that this is THE WORSE KOREAN FOOD EVER! I saw this woman working in the back, stick her FINGER in there and taste the food she was making!!! DISGUSTING!!! onyl reason they are famous was because the are open late and it's not that expensive. This place USE to be good but it's crap now. I think they changed management recently. Don't go here. Also found a ROACH in the bathroom!!! EEEWWW!!! Even the next door people, NAKWON is better. GO TO NAKWON! You'll regret it if you go here. Trust me.
It's alrite....
These guys have what can be called a "market niche"... which is basically decent Korean food after nightclub hours. Other then that, there are tons of other better places to go to. A lot of non-koreans probably go there because it's the only resturant they know of, it's reasonabily priced and not hidden in some corner and they don't need an ethnic friend to get access to. I am quite suprised that non-Koreans seem to have a rough time here because it makes no sense. The demographics of Koreatown are changing, with Koreatown basically moving north and away from Olympic Blvd. They either have to welcome a more non-Korean clientele or close their doors.
The Korean Soup Nazi
No soup for you today!--if you are not Korean that is. If you are any other ethnicity, just dont even bother walking in. I went there with 7 friends, all different walks of life, and we were treated like swine. Also, we were asked several times to hurry up and pay. One waitress even told us it was time to leave already--Go Home! were her exact words. Apparently, a group of 7 good looking women can't hang with the bulgogi serving meanies at this joint. Sounds like a job for Johnnie Cochran, doncha think? At any rate, if you are looking for a place to grub after hours, just go to IHOP.
