In ShortLike a cozy Mexican cottage, the restaurant has dim lighting, arched entryways and terra-cotta overhangs. A tequila-drinking crowd is drawn to the partially covered, festively adorned patio. Tuxedo-clad servers deliver platters of Tex-Mex selections. Meat-filled empanadas with chipotle sauce is a popular starter. Entrees include steak picado, which is packed with chunks of beef in a mix of potatoes and vegetables. Handmade flour tortillas accompany most dishes, served hot off a large brick griddle.

Great Food & Atmosphere!
I started going to La Cabana about a couple of years ago, and found myself immediately addicted! Their menu has so much to offer, that I find myself trying something different every time I go. I usually ask for a seat out on the patio, it has a fun atmosphere. Portions are nice (Bring your appetite) for the price and their Margaritas are the best!
Best Mexican Restaurant since i can remember
i have been going to La Cabana since i was probably 4 or 5 years old. For about 20 years now, they have been apart of my life in a lot of different ways. i use to live in Venice beach and me and my family would walk to La Cabana eveyr night just for dinner. it was a great time, and to this day, i still drive there from the valley just to get my carne asada dinner, or my chili reileno or my bean n cheese burrito....its #1 in my book, never had a problem with the food there. its always been a home for me and my family and friends i have taken there.
#1 no doubt.
Best Mexican Restaurant EVER!!
This place is great. Just keep the margaritas coming and pick from a long list of tasty ones, too. I think they have like 15 different margaritas, and that's just the ones they list. Food is great- burritos are huge so bring your appetite. Also recommend all the different appetizers to start. Yummy yum!
GREAT TIME!!
I have been going to LC for years now. Not once have I been disappointed. The drinks are great and the food is way better than a authentic home made food. Inside seating is romantic while the outside patio is always happening! For the price and quality, it's got my vote!!
