Fondue French Restaurant & Bar   

Not only does this place lack ambiance, variety in menu, presentation, and cleanliness - the service is horrible. We were the first ones to arrive but about the 5th table to be waited on. Not only did I burn/scald my lip from eating the meat from the skewer, they did not even apologize for not forewarning us. Granted, it was my mistake but an honest one. Especially after you first eat the cheese dipped bread from the skewer without a 2nd thought. Also, they fail to mention that the chocolate and cheese fondue had alcohol in it. It is way overpriced and I am just appalled that they were so unapologetic and pretty much avoided our table the whole night after I showed my welted lip that had already started to blister. Please save your money and buy a fondue kit instead and eat fondue at home.

This treasure was actually first on Galey Avenue in Westwood in 1971 when I first started enjoying the uniqueness of dining with my wife. We have since visited the La Findue on numerous occassions even though we now live in Huntington Beach, CA. The quality of food is superb, the meal is truly a romantic experience.
