La Poubelle   

Last night my boyfriend and I went to La Poubelle and it was very disappointing. This place I was told is "low key" & neighborhoody, etc. But what I found was the air of Hipster pretentious and a staff that catered to that. La Poubelle advertises an "early bird special" for dinner but when we asked our waiter about it he acted like he didn't know what we were talking about. After some hestitation, he brought over the menu. I got the impression, we were not meant to be ordering from the "cheaper menu". Oh well. We really are starving artists, not just posing like ones. In all fairness I will say the food was not bad BUT I still wouldn't go back because of the service and the "scene".
