Professional service, excellent food! Had the filet and, chocolate souffle. Delicious! My whole table enjoyed every morsel (we all had steaks). Quality dining in Sherman Oaks. Can't wait to go back.

Came here for lunch with a friend of mine, and it was a good place overall. It was costly ($60), but we were treated well, plus the food was pretty good. I especially liked the onion soup and the creme brulee. We each had a tasty chicken plate, and the skinny french fries were worthy too. The service was great. We brought two kids with us (one 18 month old and a 2 year old) and they were very kid-friendly, which kind of surprised me somewhat. They were going out of their way to accommodate us and the kids, so I thought that was nice of them... Left a nice tip because of that. The restaurant is elegant and sort of formal, so I didn't expect for them to come around the way they did for the kids. Place was packed with business men having their "power lunch". Really liked this restaurant and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go at least once.

My earlier rating has disappeared. I would NEVER go to this restaurant again. We were treated very rudely by the waitstaff and the food was underwhelming. The shank was tough and chewy with too much fat. Dessert was a tiny piece of not-very-cold cheesecake sitting alone in the middle of a huge dinner plate. No sauce, no nothing. Upon leaving, after having spent over $100. the "establishment host" commented he thought we were staying the night; even though the restaurant had ample empty tables. My guest was from out of town. How terribly insulting.

Just came back from a business lunch for 6. The Ahi was wonderful. The service - beautiful! Terrific value.
