The Scene Few people have the culinary distinction of mastering food on two continents like the Mister behind Mr. Chow. A Warhol caricature in his own right, owner Michael Chow perfects simple healthful Chinese cuisine for star patrons in London, New York and Beverly Hills. The two-story Camden Drive restaurant includes a main floor dining room with narrow two-seaters and larger circular tables. Known more for lunch than for dinner, Mr. Chow is a preferred destination for Hollywood's agent, publicist and lawyer set. Once the initial atmosphere has been digested, white glove treatment begins with a selection of appetizers. With most dishes made pan-fried, steamed or poached, eating pot stickers and chicken dumplings is manageable even when watching the calories. The poached chicken plates are masterful, as are simple side orders like spinach. More traditional fried dishes and noodles are similarly good, if a bit meager in size. Known for their A-list service, the waiters are always helpful in suggesting signature dishes and should really be consulted if you're a first-time guest. Spotted Here A perennial favorite of both the old guards and young turks of Tinseltown; the perfect place to meet your agent, or your best friend who just happens to be a movie star, for lunch. Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Pitt and Meg Ryan have all been spied dining here. Can I Get In? Having dinner at Mr. Chow is not an unreachable dining dream for folks not blessed with a marquee-gracing name. Make reservations in advance and hope that your favorite star -- or any star -- chooses to eat there on the same night. It could happen.

Go only if you want to be robbed

I've had better food at Panda Express. My only saving grace was the fact that I didn't pay. But if you are the kind of person that likes to pay way too much for inferior food, this is the place for you! You too can join the celebrities that don't know they are getting ripped off. Or maybe they are the only ones getting the superior food leaving the scraps for the paying customers.

OVERRATED RESTAURANT WITH RIDICULOUSLY PRICED FOOD AND WATER!! THEY CHARGED $10.00 FOR A GLASS OF WATER THAT I DIDN'T EVEN DRINK. MOST HORRIFIC DINING EXPERIENCE, EVER. WON'T SUGGEST IT TO ANYONE.

This place is so over-rated that it's a joke. Sure, the glitz of celebs abound. But at these prices, no celeb is out-of-pocketing the cost of their meals. I thought gas prices were high. Mr. Chow charges way too much, and delivers even less. The paparazi should have taken my picture to prove that dumb people pay good money to be bamboozled in L.A. when it comes to glitzy food places. Panda Express is much cheaper and tastes better.
