I'm not at all a vegetarian but this is one of my favorite restaurants. Try the Baja Fish Tacos. It tastes better than real fish!

Great Food

This place is wonderful for veggies and non-veggies alike. I have turned a few carnivore friends on to this place. The dishes are well-seasoned as vegetarians are used to good levels of spiciness (see vegetarian cuisines from India and other cultures)however they are not too spicy. Their specials are a great way to try items from their menu. My favorites include the mock-fish sandwich, the soy fried "chicken" burger and their french fries. This is tasty food that also happens to meet the dietary needs of vegetarians and organic enthusiasts. Well done!

The Mad Cowboy and the Chili Cheese Fries there are great. Prices are a little steep for such a casual dining restaurant but UCLA students get a 10% discount and most of the staff are really friendly/helpful when you're not sure what to order. It's a great place for vegetarians to bring their non-vegetarian friends and have a meal everyone can enjoy.
