Casual and funky, this clam shack overlooking the Pacific is known for fresh fare at reasonable prices. It's a simple place, serving up the cuisine on paper plates and plastic cutlery. Eat on wooden benches, most likely with your hands to get through the trickier fishes. The clientele includes a healthy population of surfers and bikers out for a Sunday drive, as well as seafood lovers from all over the Southland. Here you can get your fish steamed or fried, with corn on the cob and plenty of tartar sauce. Two kitchens do the job: one that handles the steamed fish, and one that's more like a coffee shop, with burgers, chili dogs and breakfast.
