Always a pleasure
My husband and I have been going there for years. Their fish is always top quality and very fresh. They even stock items only native Japanese would request like natto and ume-shiso. Koji is especially fun to order from and he always remembers just how I like my sushi. Becoming a regular at this restaurant has its rewards.

What melts in you mouth and leaves the slight tangy taste of sweet vinegar and freshly minced garlic to savor as it lingers the sweetness of the brown glaze drizzled atop of the broiled anago away? The Spanish mackerel sushi at Omino Sushi Japanese Cuisine in Chatsworth is where this sensational mouth-tantalizing event may be experienced among other masterpieces of fresh sushi delights. Omino also offers a sumptuous variety of cooked favorites; their sesame chicken breathes new meaning to fried chicken. The sushi bar accommodates about 12 guests while there are plenty of tables to seat families or intimate couples of two. The ambiance of this neighborhood restaurant is not fancy but filled with guests that talk, share a beer and a terrific time. The owner, Mr. Omino, greets guests by name while occasionally working behind the bar to perform the culinary artistry that keeps guests coming back for more.

Unfotunately that have bastardized they spicy tuna with hotsauce instead of wasabi which is more traditional. Service was very very slow.

I constantly tout this restaurant as the best sushi in The Valley. The albacore is the best I've had anywhere, and they're always eager to accommodate your special order. I am a long-time customer of this establishment (at least 10 years) and I have never been disappointed. Waiting for a table or a seat at the bar is a small price to pay for the reasonably-priced menu and the freshest fish.
