Do you want to pay for nothing
You pay big bucks for very below average food. I would rather have breakfast at Dennys. Go to Mortons, Ruths Chris, Houstons, Banderas, or almost any place else. When you are done and receive the bill at PDC you feel like you've paid for someone else's business, just so they can stay in business to take advantage of everyone else (RIP OFF).
MAybe those who hated it were too drugged out or cheap
I LOVE this place and the one on 6th is Awesome! I know a business executive from Philadelphia who would drive directly there any time he arrived in Los Angeles. The Cowboy steak is one of the best around (Bone in rib steak) The Ceasar Salad is an 9 out of 10. The Pacific Dinning car potatoes (Cubes fried to a golden brown are great, but ask them to not put on the onions and bell peppers (Unless you like those) and ask for some galic to be sauted in with your potatoes. Mmmmmmmmmmmmm! Great wine list, but if you think a high class meal is Bir'd at 3 in the morning, you will not like this place. Breakfasts are as good as you're going to find. This place isn't cheap, but it isn't Denny's quality either. I'd guess breakfast is just under $15.00 a person if you order a few extras like a large fresh OJ, but the quality is absolitely the tops. If you are trying to take a date out and you earn minimum wage don't go there, but there are many spots which cost a lot more and offer a lot less. 24 hours a day since the 30's, 7 days a week, give me a break. Its great quality, fair priced and always good. Some people obviously have their taste buds in the wallets.
Below par service at above par prices
To say this place is horrendous is an understatement. For 50 dollars, I recieved a 2$ piece of chicken of the quality you would expect from your local sizzler, and a baked potato, plain with only butter... well, I ordered sour cream but that never came (6 dollars for a potato with butter!!). Service was non-existent, requests for bread were ignored; as a matter of fact, we were completely ignored save to deliver the bill.

Enjoyable but uninspired dining experience. Too much gristle on steaks, potato I didn't order, shriveld sauteed mushrooms and onions. Good but far below Mortons.
