Very Good Indeed

Excellent service. Excellent food & presentation. Unexpectedly fine experience, and we were treated as well as antone else without rsvp and in casual attire for an upscale place.

A pleasant surprise!

This is one of the best places to eat in LA . . .plus you have the added benefit of being in downtown nextdoor to Disney Hall. The staff gave the best service I've ever had . . . an unsual finding these days. They gave great attention to our group without smothering us. We all really enjoyed the cheese cart (HUGE) and the opportunity to learn and try many sorts of great cheeses. The hostess even provided us with desserts on the house because our desserts arrived just before our concert at Disney Hall was starting! Highly recommended!

Just as poor as it's cousins

Why are all Patina and Patina-related restaurants so lousy? It should be good, you want it to be good, but it just isn't.

Big Disapointment
By tksundquist on 11/11/2004
We went unexpectedly, and we were only 3 of us-TG. Prices were high, service mediocre and food forgetable. The steak and "wild bird" were good, but the sauce for each was identical and tasted out of a can- Desserts were pretentious and not vg. We had been to their Melrose place and loved it- We were glad to find this out on the cheap and not take all of our kids and spend 1,000. Not again
