Every Time...Great
By AngrySeminole413 on 06/11/2008
I've been to this rest. about 3 times, and everytime it is amazing. The food and steaks are so good. The filets are the way to go, and they have two sizes to choose from. If you are dining with just two people and order a side dish, be prepared! They are BIG...easily feed 2 people as they are meant to. I highly recommend the Creamed Corn. High prices, but worth it for special occasions. I would give it a 5 star if the prices were a bit cheaper. Also, check out French 75 owned by the same people. VERY good...great anniversary restaurant.

DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!

I AM IMPRESSED! A friend of mine gave Savannah very high ratings, and I was not disappointed in the least! From the extremely friendly and efficient hostesses to our servers, Alicia and Mark, the staff set the tone to a wonderful evening. The food was wonderful! We started with the scampi appetizer (10 out of 10), calamari (8 out of 10), Caesar salad (6 out of 10). The flatiron steak and the fillets mignon were 10's all the way. The green beans could have been cooked a little more (they were almost raw), but the puree'd squash was a 10. Cocktails and wine were reasonably priced and a nice selection of martinis. Desserts (flourless chocolate cake and cinnamon ice cream with bananas) were to die for! Sure, it's expensive, but not overpriced and there are items priced very reasonably. I brought guests with me from Italy to show them a good American steakhouse and was in no way disappointed! This restaurant is a winner all the way, and I will be returning soon.

Disappointing
By mw1260x on 02/22/2007
Made a reservation for valentines day about a month in advance. Got there early, was offered a spot in the bar (with people literally piled up against the table) or a spot outdoors where people were smoking. They were obviously stretching to squeeze the largest number of people possible into the space, and the menu was all about yield. The fixed price meal was ridiculously overpriced at $80 each (and I often go to French 75) and underwhelming. The service was poor. My soup was tepid, my steak overcooked, my creme brule' was gritty, and I wouldn't cross the parking lot to come back. In fact, I might not go back to F75 for a while, I'm so irritated at these people.

Pricey, but worth every penny. Great food and service, with a fabulous atmosphere. Main dining room is gorgeous and outdoor patio and tented room have beautiful ocean views. We have eaten there at least once a month for years and have never been dissapointed.
