In ShortA longtime European street-food sensation, the Turkish-born doner kebab has been introduced to the Eastside at this little hipster joint near Occidental college. An airy room pops in sage, ochre and purple tones, and there's a sweet front patio with flowers and umbrellas. Behind a glass counter, minced lamb, beef and chicken slow-roast on custom vertical broilers percolating their juices and 12 spices. Paper thin strips are shaved off and stuffed into panini-toasted foccacia with veggies and tzatziki sauce.
