Predating the "wrap" and toasted sub by a good 15 years, this tiny ethnic treasure has been a Valley go-to pick since the days when pita bread was meant only for dipping. Now its gospel gets spoken from Studio City to Woodland Hills, mainly due to unbelievably tasty turkey, mortadella and pepper beef pita sandwiches stuffed with string cheese, avocado, tomatoes and the perfect amount of pepperoncini.
