The Castaway Restaurant and Banquet Center is located high in the Burbank hills overlooking De Bell Golf Course, with a breathtaking city view that is spectacular day or night. It is appropriately nicknamed ?The Jewel on the Hill? and has been a landmark in the Burbank area for over 40 years.

Not the Best
this place has really fallen off, I used to love their sunday brunch buffet. the head cook is a terrific person and I still love their outdoor sitting area on a warm breezy day its the best while sipping a mimosa or a bloody mary ******* losing its luster. I will be back because I love the scenery but come on buddy step it up.

Horrible...No rational person would ever pick this spot as one of the city's best and rated it higher than Joe's or Campanile.

HORRIBLE SERVICE VIA HOSTESS
I CALLED TO MAKE A DINNER RESERVATION A FEW MONTHS PRIOR. THE WHOLE TIME ON THE LINE I COULD HEAR THE HOSTESS GIGGLING IN COVERSATION WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYEE. I HAD A FEELING MY RESERVATION WAS NOT LOGGED SO I CALLED BACK WITHIN THE NEXT 30 MINUTES. I ASKED THE SAME HOSTESS I HAD SPOKE TO EARLIER TO CONFIRM MY RESERVATION AND JUST AS I THOUGHT IT WAS NOT EVEN LOGGED. WORST OF ALL THE GIRL WAS SNOBBY, NEVER BOTHERING TO APOLOGIZE FOR HER TONE. WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO HER SUPERVISOR SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME!!!!
