I went here for a pre-theater dinner...made reservations at 6 but got there at 5. Reservations weren't even necessary as it was not crowded at all, despite it being a saturday night. The decor of the restaurant was very upscale...dark lighting, very quiet, and big, comfortable black booths. Great place for a romantic dinner however be sure you or your SO has the $ to pay for it. I ordered the chicken pot pie for $16...it was quite good (esp. the crust and huge chunks of chicken) and I couldnt finish it but it didnt make up for the amount I paid for it. My SO ordered the chicken marsala and it was such a small portion for $19. Try the potatoes though! All in all, it was a good first time experience but won't be going back there.

This restaurant is definately open for business and in an awesome way! First, the peripherals: They have a free shuttle to the Hollywood Bowl, and where we went, to the Pantages to see 'The Producers.' They have a prix fix menu for 'The Producers' that includes a 1/2 price wine menu. Quality food and service at a fraction of the regular cost and served prompltly to get you on your way... refreshing! They of course also have a full menu, if you'd rather order off of that. The ambiance is great, the smiles abound, and the location is amazing! Then there is Dmitri Fagel, the G.M.; there to make sure that everything exceeds your expectations - always smiling, always hustling - a 'can-do' type of guy!And how about the food you may ask? WOW! The four of us all had something different and each had their taste buds tickled in an excellent way. But we took a vote and decided that my wife's skirt steak won the blue ribbon! Tender and tasty! Again...WOW!!!
