Why I don't go anymore...
By hunter212323 on 04/07/2007
I loved Toi. I had eaten there for over 5 years. About a year ago they decided that you could no longer order their dishes with "all white meat" chicken. I would not have had a major problem with this but I would find "knuckles" in my chicken on a CONSISTENT basis. The quality of the chicken is NOT restaurant quality. Over the past year I have ordered dishes w/o chicken (IE: shrimp), but my choices are limited so I hardly ever bother going there anymore. I mean charge me an extra 2 or 3 bucks and get the knuckles out of your chicken! Then and only then would I ever order chicken there again for sure! It is a shame, GREAT otherwise!!

wow, i really enjoyed the vibe of this restaurant. it wasn't pretentious, as some hollywood restaurants can be, the service was good and the waiters were attentive. the prices were reasonable and the food was great! i'd definitely make this place a staple!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant on the planet!! Not only do they have rock n roll music blaring from the speakers, but the best damn thai food east of the pacific. You must must must get on this one.. you will be pleased.

fun place to dine
By lushpuppy555 on 12/20/2003
Thai spaghetti is great. Just the right amound of spice. Not that anyone knows what right or wrong way thai spaghetti should be made. Pad thai tastes great as well. Perfect music to dine by, and always a cult classic film playing. Had only two close encounters with some friendly cockroaches, but that was a long time ago, and I haven't seen one in a few years. Don't let that stop you from checking the place out. A little extra bug protein never hurt anyone. ;-)
