Catering to well-heeled locals and the Silver Lake/Hollywood crowd alike, this Los Feliz mainstay seems to offer something for everyone... Lunch and Happy Hour stay buzzing with hungry window shoppers and the nearby after-work folks avoiding another L.A. rush hour. The dining scene, with its ever-evolving menu of upscale American fare, is appropriate for your most special of occasions. The hip, comfy lounge always has something going on, whether it be Open Mic Night, New York-Styled Cabaret Performances or just an old-school D.J. & Dancing on the weekends. ROCKWELL, the newly-constructed patio-lounge, behind the original restaurant will be open for Saturday & Sunday Brunch in August and wild bar scenes every night...

2009 New Years Eve
By cataisle on 01/01/2009
Disregard the date on this review. I wrote it on 1-1-09. Three of us spent New Year's Eve here. My husband and I had the lamb loin wrapped in pistachio pastry. We both felt it was over-cooked and dry. Our third dinner had the breast of duck. I tried a piece and thought it too was over-cooked and dry. The second course of salad was very good with a lot of taste. The first course of potato leek soup was too diluted and not hot enough. The restaurant had run out of the other soup - crab bisque, and possibly added liquid to the potato leek to stretch it out. I reviewed this restaurant about a year ago and felt positive about the food. Perhaps being New Year's Eve the crowd over-whelmed the restaurant. However when you charge $79 a person and add an 18% gratuity, it needs to be good. Our waitress got a $52 tip and was not that good. I will ask if the gratuity is included next New Years. I probably will go elsewhere next year.

good food, good service
By toomnygrlfriends on 06/08/2004
The food is good but a little over priced. The tables are way to close together. Its cool in a way cuse its the only way you'll get a threesome. Servers a little stuck on themselves. The dinning room is romantic and warm. All in all a nice little spot.

Incredible Service and Food
By arnoldisanazi33 on 05/26/2004
I brought an executive partner in for a meal here last night from New York. What a wonderful experience we had. The service and the food was amazing and my out of town guest was very impressed. This is where they treat the stars like regular people and the regular people like stars. It was everything we hoped for and more. If you are into duck, you certainly won't be dissapointed. The crab raviolli was second to none. We topped it off with fantastic martini's and are looking forward to coming back over and over. This is the place !
