We know New Yorkers who land at LAX and head straight for Yuca's, which is located between a liquor store and a real estate office in the funky Los Feliz village. Dora and her family dispense some of the best, carnitas, carne asada tacos and burritos in the city. The meats are lean and juicy, and fresh cilantro, pepper and lime flavors pop. Get a Dos Equis from the liquor store, grab one of the rickety tables, order a couple of tacos and enjoy one of LA's great small pleasures.

Down to Earth People and outstanding Taste
Don't be affraid of Mama Yuca, as she is lovingly called. Remember she is there because she cares . She takes your orders in an almost drill sargent mode. Her army of servers which are mostly family have all the moves down pack. Don't hesitate to ask her to change or add something to your order. She will make it your way, you just have to ask. The cochinita de Pibil is superb. I had the pleasure of meeting the whole family when my daughter was a Realtor with Sothebys down the street. Señora. Gracias por todo! I will be there everytime I go down south.
