When you visit a Molly Malones, you pretty much know what youre going to get, and the Louisville location doesn't disappoint. Foamy, rich pints of Guinness and Harp accompany hearty plates of bangers & mash and corned beef & cabbage. The fact that the proprietors and employees are from Ireland adds a nice touch. In fact, the owner claims that this bar has 'the largest concentration of Irish accents in Louisville.' A clean, friendly bar with a mixed crowd, students mingle with business people and blue-collar workers. Regulars tease the bartenders about their accents, while first-timers check out the racing pictures on the wall (the owners brother is a horse trainer). You can dine on the outside patio when the weather is fine or huddle at the bar in the chilly winter months. -- Lena Katz
