This small but elegant restaurant and espresso bar offers a glimpse of Napa Valley in the heart of Bluegrass Country. The relative newcomer to the St. Matthews dining scene offers airy interiors, organic produce from local farmers, California-style cuisine and an Italian wine list that received Wine Spectator's 1999 Award of Excellence.

hands down the best restaurant in louisville. chef troy shuster assembles the finest and freshest ingredients in a masterfullly creative take on time-honored classics. add a winning wine list , a charming ambience, and an accomodating wait staff, and this st. matthew's hideaway soars far above the competition.

Understated, consistently and wonderfully delicious. Always fresh ingredients. Atmosphere is calm and sophisticated, but never pretenious.
