we have eaten at ruth chris steak house -Zsoyster bar and steak house and several other great restaurants in louisville but nothing compares to audreys delfrisco"s .i just read the review from spilage that had dinner at delfrisco"s on 02-19-07 my wife and i were also there that night and observed a very obnoxious and rude couple .the server went to great extremes to try and please these people .so i am sure this was the spilage couple .trust the other 99.9% of the reviews and try this restaurant you will not regret it. We had heard from a family friend that Delfrisco's has had the best steak in town for years, so we finally tried it out for dinner. The atmosphere is kind of retro-70s-fancy. The menu offerings were pricey, and everything come a la carte: most steaks come with no sides on the plate. I ordered a shish kebob, since it had steak, shrimp, mushroom and rice (some side orders built-in). I must say that the steak and shrimp were excellent, and the portions generous. My advice: the food is good, but unless your pockets are deep, try this restaurant first at lunchtime.

The service was fair at best, food was spilled on my coat. The meat served was no better than a chain steak house.

Been there 3 times and never had a bad meal yet! Steaks melt in your mouth
