This art deco French restaurant tucked away in the air terminal at Bowman Field is one of Louisville's most romantic dining spots. How romantic, you ask? Well, a conspicuous menu selection is "Romance for Two," a 20-minute plane ride with boarding from the deck off of the bar. Fortunately for diners who like to stay grounded, owner Anthony Dike's labor of love offers delicious, gimmick-free Gallic cuisine like a "souper" sherry-scented shrimp bisque or chef Roberta Cattan's veal chops. Le Relais' award- winning wine list has a strong French accent.

Great food, poor service
Food was excellent, steak practically melted in my mouth. Owner dampers excellent atmosphere with his impression of a frenchman that includes a fake accent and snobbish attitude.
ONly for the deck
We only go there when we can eat on the deck--it's very nice. Food's okay to good. Service the same. Anthony's accent is a scream; he's from Kentucky.
