Owner Tomas Ballesta is so committed to service that he states on the cover of his menu that he would rather serve an additional meal to a diner than allow her to leave unsatisfied. The tasting bar allows you to sample 30 different wines prior to ordering your meal. In a wide mix of Spanish Mediterranean dishes, the paella Valencina shines. Ballesta, a graduate of France's Cordon Bleu chef school, claims that this is the national dish of Spain, but after one bite of the mixture of chicken, pork, shrimp, squid, mussels and fish combined with Spanish rice, peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic and a touch of saffron, you'll probably make it your national dish as well, no matter where you're from. From more than 30 hot and cold tapas one can pick gazpacho, grilled squid or almondigas Catalanas, made from a recipe of Ballesta's mother: Spanish meatballs made with pork, chicken, veal and beef. Desserts are prepared and presented with the same care as the meal. Featured favorites include flan, Spanish rice pudding and fresh poached pears.

You are so off in your listings. La Paella has been closed and a new restaurant has reopened there called The Continental.

Gone, perhaps not forgotten

This place has been out of business for almost two years, after changing management almost a year before that. Why keep the site in place? Why should I have confidence in any of your other reviews?
