Smoky's Steakhouse   

This was a very nice place. One because the food was great, a little pricey yes, but still tastey nonetheless. Second the waiting wasn't as bad as we thought it be. we came in, had some great burgers, then left all in about a 45 minute time span. Not the best, but not too bad either.

The food has degraded to poor. Service is slow. Its simply gone from good to terrible. I'd never think of going back. Smokey's is living on loyalty not good food.

NOTHING !!!!!!! To be "Old School" does not mean straight-from-the-plains steaks, slow service, crowded seating and hgh, big city prices. I wonder if the "Editors" have even been to this "Eclectic" (their words) dump (mine) eatery.

Smoky's is a real time capsule! Our family has been dining at Smok'ys for three generations. Half the waitresses and bartenders are still there. Bob the bartender has a martini club that is a gas, I think he must have every kind of booze in the world. The NY strip I had last time was the best ever and soup, salad and potatoes are all included. The atmosphere is eclectic to say the least with everything from golf clubs to stuffed sharks hanging up. The Ritz it is not, but if your looking for a friendly, homey dining experience try Smoky's and say HI to Reno.
