Rate and Write a Review With two restaurants, a cigar lounge and an authentic pub, the Landmark Inn offers a range of eating choices. Locals seem to favor the Heritage Room restaurants consistent service and wider menu variety and the Northland Pubs traditional English ambience. The Heritage Room serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dress code is casual. Among the specialties is Tournedos Diablo, two 3-ounce medallions of beef sauted with sun-dried tomatoes in a rosemary bourdelaise red wine sauce. The wine list is reasonable, and the chef sends out a complimentary appetizer with all entrees. The Northland Pub is livelier and more casual than the Heritage. The bar carries 40 varieties of beer, with eight on tap, including locally brewed Mackinac Pale Ale. Menu features burgers, build-your-own pizzas, gyros and gumbo. Live entertainment three nights a week during the busy summer season. Both the North Star Lounge and Sky Room restaurant on the sixth floor feature views of Lake Superior and downtown Marquette. The lounge serves top shelf spirits and fine wines. The slightly more upscale Sky Room serves five- course, prix-fixe meals on Friday and Saturday evenings. - James Guay
