According to Rocky, this Memphis bar is the city's oldest family-owned pub, opened back in 1953 by his dad. Over the years, their burgers and jukebox have made headlines, and the walls are lined with framed articles and photographs of past patrons. Musician Don Henley stops in for a burger everytime he has a Memphis concert, and so does actor Dennis Quaid. There are pictures of other past guests like Stella Stevens, Tim McCarver and Cybill Shepherd. Look out for the collages of regulars throughout the years. Complete with huge big-screen TV, this is one beer joint that won't break the bank. A favorite hangout for Rhodes Students, UT Medical and Optometry school students, as well as musicians and bar folk who want to hang out when they get off work. -- Nancy Apple
