Shake, rattle and roll baby to this old road house. It has been around for 52 years, and to this day has got to be one of the coolest, funkiest dives in Memphis. Strictly a beer joint, its BYOB and party down dance in your bobby sox and cowgirl dress fun. This is the place where Jerry Lee Lewis used to hang, and still may make an appearance once in a blue moon. Thats whats so cool about this place. You never know who will be poppin in, be it Rufus Thomas, Ace Cannon, B.B. Cunningham or Dennis Quaid chances are they are going to be sitting in with the Bubba Feathers Band (yes, we are talking no less than Charlies son). -- Nancy Apple

Sad to see it closed...
We'd been going to Hideaway for quite a few years. What a sad loss. Hideaway is closed. Now where will we all go? Much love to the house band... Bubba, Little Bubba, PD and of course, Danny Jo Bryant. Our love to you all!

A Group of Us have been regulars at Herando's for 35 to 40 yrs.
When we were younger, we went 6 & 7 nights a week.
We had good times and met new friends. Still do. : )
Hernando's is still a good place to be, Even after all these years.
