Certainly a relic. Very passe. Simply awful ribs. Lamb was very dry. The greasy sausage and cheese platters are simply, well...greasy. The service, i.e. waiters seem to be in a cultural timewarp more indicative of oppressive Plantation life...but the locals seem to enjoy their nostaligic demeanor. I was waiting on `Steppin' Fetchit` to appear for a dance. This place is an anachronism that needs to fade away, with `Ole Man River

The perfect combination: a cheese and sausage plate, a pitcher of beer, and a full order. I have been eating at Rendezvous for over ten years and recommend it to everyone who lives in or visits Memphis! You haven't had ribs until you've had Rendezvous.
