Broadway Pizza House   

A leftover from Binghampton's heyday in the 1950s, Broadway Pizza still retains vestiges of its former glory. The restaurant, a working-class joint located northeast of Midtown, ranks high on the list of pizza lovers who claim that the thin crusts and real cheese toppings make the drive worthwhile. Broadway Pizza offers a wide variety of pies, but none sell better, or receive more accolades than, their one-of-a-kind barbecue pizza. Featuring a healthy serving of spicy pulled pork shoulder coated in a delicate layer of mozzarella, it was Elvis' favorite -- and his doctor's worst nightmare. Call ahead for a pie to go, or slide into one of their old vinyl booths with a slice and watch the world go by.
