Barracuda is a popular Coconut Grove bar. With its relaxed, casual atmosphere, Barracuda is known for its extensive list of beers, both on tap and in bottles, and wines. In fact, this place is so relaxed, you won't find any servers. Barracuda asks all its guests to make their way to the bar for drinks and food. Just state your name, order and come back to pick it up. This is a great place to grab a bite and share a couple of pitchers with good friends. Check out Happy Hour specials, like $1 Domestic Drafts from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, or go for the $5 pitcher. Barracuda is big on burgers and seafood, but its perhaps best-known for its raw bar. Here you'll find oysters and clams on the half-shell, shucked to order.

The type of people that go to Barracuda are old, mean, lonely, alchoholics. Oh and anyone under the age of 21.
Spring Break
We hit Barracuda during UNC's Spring Break (Go Heels); fun atmosphere, Beirut, pool, lots of kids. Great music too -- not the crap rap that you hear in most of the places on South Beach.
The Cuda
Known by it's regulars as the Cuda, the food and hospitality of the staff rocks. The prices are cheap and there is always an eclectic mix of patrons, whom are approachable and easy to talk to. In fact, should you so desire, it will be hard not to meet interesting people. If you would like to nurse your beer alone, that is always do-able as well. The incredible staff is always helpful (save one) and they make it their job to see that you've had a great time. When heading to the Grove, definately check out the Cuda.
To meet women, check out the ladies night on Wednesdays, when they are 3 deep at the bar. Or, to hang with college kids, go on Thursday nights. Mondays is free pool, so rack them up!
Drinks are much more affordable here than at any other bar, and though owned by the same person as Mr. Moes, the staff and fun here are WAY better.
