One of Milwaukee's most popular sports bars, Kelly's has two enormous rooms to house its loyal patrons. What's more amazing than the hordes themselves is how the owner seems to know many of the names and faces among them; community is key here. The front section is home to a large bar, while the back handles all the dance action, complete with smoke-and-light-enhanced floor shows and weekend DJs. Between the frequent local media visits, endless marketing promotions and sponsored sports leagues, there's always something going on here. The food is great and attracts a large lunch crowd. But what sets this establishment apart from the rest is the management's strong commitment to its clientele. Though popular with a truly diverse crowd, Kelly's is really a giant neighborhood bar with a heart to match -- and some funky baseball bat handles on the doorways.
