Milwaukee has never been considered the least bit fashionable, but you wouldn't know it at Parkbar. The immense entertainment Mecca is the epitome of style, and it bustles with the beautiful people who appear to be imported from Miami on a weekly basis. The young professional masses have plenty of choices on how to pass the time. Gyrate to thumping techno and house music on the massive concrete dance floor in The Lounge, or if retro is more your thing, head to the smaller dance area upstairs for '70s and '80s music. If dancing is not on the agenda then pull up a chair in the Martini Bar and work your way through the long list of tasty and potent drinks. Specials include complimentary margaritas before 11PM for ladies on Saturdays and the Sugar Ladies Night on Thursdays. Regulars are rewarded for their patronage in the VIP section, where they can get away from the plebes. Sleek bars, a transparent upstairs dance floor, walls that change color and a well-dressed clientele offer plenty of visual stimulation. Come wearing your best duds, because Parkbar has a strict dress code and doormen will send you on your way if you don't look the part. If hooking up is the plan, you had better bring your ''A'' game because the talent at Parkbar is major league caliber and not an easy catch.
