Harbor Room   

Forget your favorite drama, and just go to the Harbor Room. They actually should hire a door guard to watch for low life clients. They also should stop the 2 for 1 shirtless drinks. Many low life people are now coming to this bar. It was once one of the finest bars in the Milwaukee Gay scene. The owners add to the drama, and if they were smart they would run their business outside. Regular patrons stay away when they see their car parked ou front. Bartenders come and go. One day they are fired, and the next they are back. This adds to the drama...but does not happen at other bars. It actually turns patrons off. Just look at the business that ex-Harbor Room bartender Jerry gets at his bar. It has a door guard, and no low-life shirtless nights. It would be rare if a client was approached for a few drink, or to borrow a cigarette, At Harbor Room this is a regular event. Plus people complain of cell phones or money missing from the bar. Harbor Room improve. They can become the bar they were 5 years ago. Get trustworthy and friendly bartenders. Harbor Room used to have a door man, and used to have a Wednesday leather night...with free pizza. Manage your bar, but don't just sit there drinking all night. Let your patrons feel comfortable.

mostly older ....so called leather men/queens...what few good looking guys that are there are either stuck up or trying to get paid for their (services) bartenders are cool...but in general the patrons are racist. if your lucky you get to see the owner passed out at the bar...tacky

Hey this place is friendly and they always remember your name and what you drink. If you take your shirt off Anytime, you can drink 1/2 price drinks. They open at 7 a.m and have one of the Best Happy Hours starting at 2 pm. till 8 pm with FREE PIZZA and 2 for One Drinks for the 6 hour span Monday thru Friday. They even Give You a $ 20.00 Gift Certificate if it the month of your birthday with proof of course. Never any attitude in this place and lots of friendly people to socialize with. They also have a really cool big patio to enjoy year round. It's primarily a gay bar, but wow, lot of straights hang out there too. Darn good juke box of tunes too! They even take credit cards and have an ATM as well. We shoot pool there quite often now.
