Rate and Write a Review Bay View has long been a home for the blue-collar worker. Many of the old houses in the area were originally built and owned by workers from the city's nearby foundries. These workers were known as ''puddlers'' for their work with molten metal, and they were a crucial element in the city's industrial backbone. Most of the foundries have long singce closed down, but the memory of those who worked there is honored by the Puddlers Hall in Bay View. The bar is a dedicated blue collar drinking establishment, lacking the chic artwork and hipster attitudes of some of its nearby neighbors. Instead, this is the sort of bar dad or granddad would go to in order to unwind after a hard day at work. The drinks are reasonably priced, and there's plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained, from occasional live music to darts.
